Javed and Salim Patch it up at Anil’s Party
Anil held his birthday with a lot of pomp amd show.But what made it truly memorable was when two screenwriting legends, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, forgot past woes and greeted each other warmly.
A source said, “Javedsaab was sitting with Anupam Kher and Firoz Khan when Salim Khan entered the party late at night. Salimbhai was disturbed by the turn of events, in which Salman had slapped a fan who was getting too close for comfort.
Once everyone came up after solving the problem, everyone surrounded Salimbhai saying that it is okay. That’s when Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan came face to face. Anil Kapoor, who saw a potentially awkward situation, joined in and started a conversation about the films that they used to do.
