Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay’s college festival saw history repeating itself when on Monday, the ‘Nightingale of Asia’ performed in the festival. Asha Tai had previously collaborated with hubby and music legend, the late R.D.Burman to perform in this very campus 30 years back.
Although Asha is a singer from the yesteryear, she is still considered to be timeless, which is why a huge crowd thronged to see her perform.
When she performed at the campus for the first time, she sang the numbers that were popular, but this time she decided to go with classical music. And if you think that youth today don’t enjoy classical music, well then you are wrong. Asha set everybody present, grooving to her music.
