Earlier in this very month, the Parliamentary Standing Committee, headed by Oscar Fernandes, formulated and presented its Copyright Amendment Report.
It has been heard that the Bill will be passed early next year. As expected, the producers are very upset with this new Copyright Act, because it will give music composers and lyricists a share of their profits.
