The Asli Reason Behind The Delay Of DABANGG 2
Contrary to the reports that Salman Khan has no dates for the sequel of the blockbuster hit DABANGG that won him a Screen Award for the Best Actor for the first time ever, the reason behind the delay is something else.
Salman Khan is ready and excited for the sequel. The star cast will be the same for the sequel which will consist of Salman with Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood and Vinod Khanna . His brother and producer of DABANGG, Arbaaz Khan is flooded with offers from biggest corporations to buy the rights of the sequel. There was a report saying one made bid of Rs 110 crores.
Apparently money is not an issue. It is the director of DABANGG, Abhinav Sinha who is creating obstacles in the way. With the success of the original movie, Abhinav has hiked his fee to an astonishing amount. He has signed a film for 10 crores, post to which he started acting pricey. And this is one of the reasons, why the decision regarding the sequel is stuck.
When asked, Arbaaz says, “I am not at liberty to discuss what offers are being made and by whom. Nor do I wish to comment on the mathematics because the kind of figures the market is attributing to the sequel is not surprising. Dabangg is worth big money, it is a proven franchise.”
When probed about Abhinav’s price hike, Arbaaz laughed it off and said, “Abhinav is on board for the sequel, as of now. I don't wish to discuss the money. We are fair people and obviously he will be paid what is his rightful due.”
All we want to say is, please sort out all the issues as soon as possible before ‘Chulbhul Robinhood Pandey’ changes his mind!
