Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might not be doing many movies, but she still seems to be the ruling diva. Besides the many accolades and titles that she has received, Aishwarya has been immortalized in certain ways by some of her admirers. Now, Padma Shri Award recipient Kaleemullah Khan, who is a well-known Horticulturist, is in an endeavor to develop a unique variety of guava and intends to name it after former Miss World and reigning Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Padma Shri Kaleemullah Khan also has achieved an incredible and unique feat of growing more than 300 varieties of mangoes of different shapes and sizes on a single tree. Khan has already named one of the mangoes after Aishwarya. He has also developed a new variety of mango and given it the name of Master-Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

It took this genius about eight long years to create this special guava, that Khan feels will be sweeter with softer seeds. Thus Ash feels that it is a great honour for her.

“The new variety of guava is very different in taste, smell and look from the traditional and normal varieties grown in the country,” Kaleemullah told a news agency.

Fame might fade away, but respect and honour remains!
