Years back, three superb dancers of Bollywood-Govinda, Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit grooved together to do a song “Makhna” for the film BADE MIYA CHHOTE MIYA. Although Madhuri had just done a cameo, the song is remembered for the great camaraderie between the three dancers. The song was shot years back in 1998, and today after more than a decade, Chote miya Govinda and Dancing queen Madhuri, refreshed the memories on the sets of the popular TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Govinda made an appearance on JDJ to cheer his nephew Krushna Abhishek, who is one of the contenders of the show. Krushna requested Govinda and Madhuri to recreate the magic of the song on the Jhalak stage. The duo did not disappoint Krushna. They also showed that even today, they can challenge any contemporary leading actor when it comes to dancing. Seeing his uncle dance with the diva, Krushna could not resist joining them. He too, took an opportunity to be a part of the great act.
Previously Govinda had made an appearance on the show to introduce his nephew Krushna for Jhalak. Madhuri and Govinda should perhaps start giving the current league of actors some training, considering the fact that no present actor can match the enthusiasm that the duo exhibit.
