After losing Katrina to Ranbir in the battle of love, Salman has now geared up for round two. Only this time, the battle is fought at the box office and it will not be Katrina who would be judging the game, but millions of movie- goers.
Sources say that Sallu Miya and the Kapoor Junior will both compete at the box office on May 27. Salman’s READY and Ranbir’s ROCKSTAR will be at logger-heads at the box office, fighting for pride.
READY is an action thriller, while ROCKSTAR as the name suggests is a musical. The duo have worked in Ranbir’s debut flick SAAWARIYA. The Kapoor’s and Salman share a great bond and Ranbir has always admitted that he looks up to Salman.
Both READY and ROCKSTAR are in news much before their release. READY, directed by Anees Bazmee, is making news for the 2.5 crore wedding song, that is one of the highlights of the film. Besides, rumours about the READY co-stars Salman and Asin tying knot created buzz in the industry. Eventually it was learnt that the news is only a publicity stunt for the movie.
ROCKSTAR on the other hand is in the news for the much talked about Ranbir and debutant Nargis Fakhiri’s off screen bonding. This very closeness apparently made Katrina uncomfortable. We wonder if this is a publicity stunt too!
Whatever it is, fans will now wait for mid year to see the clash of the legend and the young warrior. Good luck guys (please don’t disappoint us in your battle)!
