Akshay Kumar was to play the role of Milkha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next flick, but now that doesn’t seem to be happening. Rakeysh Mehra is eager to make his film in short budget, so that his film does not meet with the same result as DELHI 6 did.

So the lead actor of the film will be a newcomer. The shooting for RUN MILKHA RUN will start is mid-2011. The cast is yet to be finalized; Rakesh and his team are in process of visiting the remotest of towns in Punjab in search of their Milkha. Read more at www.bollywoodchaska.com
